Change in Chief
- Chief Joe Marsh, after 49 years of service as Chief, has retired. The Board of Directors has appointed Assistant Chief Ben Marsh fill to the position. Ben has been with Station 24 for 25 years. We look forward to many years to come under his leadership and wish him well.

First CPR Class!
- We are now hosting CPR Classes! The first class is on February 3, 2024. Check the CPR Classes section of the webpage for more information.

2024 Annual Board Meeting
- The 2024 Annual Board Meeting was a wet one. Severe weather created hazardous conditions our Firefighters had to monitor, so many of them were on calls during the meeting. However, the community still showed up to hear how the Department had done during the past year and what was to come in 2024. One of our longstanding Board members, Walter Clark, retired, and his seat was filled by Brian Odom. It was a good meeting, and the Board looks forward to another year of helping the Community.

2023 Annual Board Meeting
- The Board of Directors have passed a new set of bylaws, one of which changes the requirements to vote at the Annual Board Meeting. Those wishing to vote must reside in the District and have proof they have paid a fire tax in the District. The fire tax comes out of property taxes, whether it is real property or personal property. You must also preregister to vote at the Meeting. This can be done by visiting the Station between the hours of 8 A.M and 5 P. M. any day of the week and filling out the registration form. Pre-registration must be completed by 30 November 2022 to count towards the 2023 Meeting. Anyone here is more than happy to answer any questions you may have about this change.
